Learning Japanese Outside the Campus
To improve the ability to speak the Japanese Language, we strongly encourage students to actively attend classes. The ability to use the Japanese Language is important for living in Japan, even though it may not be required for academic purposes in some graduate programs.
Opportunities for Learning Japanese Language Outside of Official Classes
Both students and non-students can study the language through the following channels.
Japanese Language Salon at the Medical Faculty
This is not a "class" per se. The salon is conducted two times a month by volunteers from the "Wa no Kai" club. Participants shall have the opportunity to speak Japanese with these volunteers.
