To protect people's lives and properties from natural disasters such as tsunamis, storm surges, and river floods, we conduct academic and technological research and development and human resource development related to crisis management.

Information for Risk Reduction
The following is a list of some useful information on how to protect against disasters. It is very important to prepare for emergencies on a daily basis. Checking the hazard information and locations of nearby evacuation centers beforehand will help to mitigate risk in the event of a disaster.

History and Culture of Kagawa
Here, we will introduce the history of Kagawa's disasters that we should not forget and the great achievements of our ancestors that we benefit from today, as well as the arts and culture of Kagawa. We will also introduce the basic etiquette of Sanuki udon, the sole food loved by the people of Kagawa Prefecture, so please refer to it.
